As a person, professional, and psychotherapist I have been shaped by over forty years of living and working abroad. I feel a connection and understanding with people such as expatriates, repatriaties, and other 'foreigners' with a background or heritage that is different from that of their environment, even if they are now living in their home country. This is the reason Serensis is also internationally oriented.
Clients who have an international or multicultural background often experience an elusive influence of this dimension on their psychological wellbeing. Language is also a very important factor. Sessions are held in English (and Dutch of course) and upon request I can connect you with colleague Psychosynthesis therapists who conduct sessions in French, Portuguese, and German.
